USED CODE… used code… !!!
I try: what are you using to save your data to disk:
a. TextOutputStream ?
b. BinaryStream ?
What kind of data are you saving to disk ?
Answer depends on your answers: a or b.
You determine the use of a or b when you ask the second question (What kind of data am I saving to disk ?)
At last, you’d better use BinaryStream -in cnjunction of a custom file extension if you want to be able to see your custom icon.
Did you anwser these questions ?
a. 32 or 64 bits compilation,
b. Used Windows version ?
and so on.

Objet : Re: Icons in Windows Builds
Thank you, Emile and Tim, I realize now that I have not have not accurately described the problem, but perhaps the same answers would be given. It is the documents that are saved by the application that are not receiving an icon, although if I run a debug build of the Windows app on a Mac computer, it does. > On Feb 6, 2017, at 7:40 AM, Tim Jones wrote: > > Hi Albert, > > This is a known issue and it’s been discussed as relating to 64bit Windows builds for some time now. No answer forthcoming in the near future.
