eSellerate Alternative

Hi Nug,

Is anyone using eSellerate, and are you having a problem with activation of Mac applications? I asked eSellerate about it, and was told that newer browsers must be installed to activate and that anyone with Mac OS X 10.8 and earlier would not be able to activate the software!

Can anyone recommend an alternative - one that will generate and activate serial numbers for me?

At one time, we used eSellerate for Omegabundle, since their % rate was
reasonable (the old 'grandfathered' rate) and it made distribution of funds
rather easy. But the last several years, we simply used our own store.
Fastspring can do pretty much everything that eSellerate does, however
their rates are not competitive with the eSellerate grandfathered rate (nor
are they willing to engage in that conversation). So my recommendation to
you is to get a simple CMS that can process using Paypal or Stripe and
generates serial numbers, and save yourself an extra 2-5% on transaction
costs.
