I use macOS SIERRA (10.12.6) on an iMac Retina bought 9/2015, and the Mail software of Apple.
I get unwanted messages that I would like to eliminate automatically. Some are very resistant, and really need a shotgun to be eliminated! I envisage a kind of filter that would detect an email input address that contains a specific word. For example, I receive frequently an email with the address "info-***@message.viadeo.com”. I would like to detect the part “viadeo” to define this email as Spam and store it in my Junk Mailbox.
I would like to define a series of similar expressions to define Junk mails. This would require a small script (looping over the series), but I do not know how to do this. I suspect that it could be simple to start with, but the complexity of scripts may be endless !
Cordially,
Daniel
