I have implemented Eliza in REALbasic, mainly as an exercise in
manipulating text and I/O in this environment. Functionally, it is
almost identical to the original Eliza coded in Dartmouth BASIC, but it
is structured and heavily commented to make it very easy to expand and
enhance. It consists of one .rbp source code file and one plain text
data file totaling about 53KB.
I would be happy to share the source with any RB programmer with the
condition that you agree to document any changes you make in a format
similar to mine, and send a copy of the revised program back to me.
If interested in doing more than just playing with the program, please
contact me at Dan-***@public.gmane.org
