Discussion:
Please fix DMARC and DKIM on emails

Hi guys,

Probably not the best channel for this request but all your outgoing mail
is being flagged as spam due to DMARC and DKIM not being configured
correctly and set up respectively.

I love to at least read about issues if not contribute occasionally but I
am missing most of them.

Hope everyone is well.

Hello, Chris -

I use Apple Mail. As far as I know, I have no ability, what so ever, to alter any of these items. A recent message from me to the NUG had the following:

DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=comcast.net;
s=q20161114; t=1480447226;
bh=prx/SWkcySKno0W4vWDCzUvYQlnQezcagjgWQReS+Gk=;

There is no bloody way that I have any control over that. There is no “setup”.

I thought this was a list-server issue. These emails are not 'peer-to-peer'
even if the OP appears in the FROM field.

That said, I wouldn't expect Xojo to do much about it, they'd just say 'use
the forums, mail list is deprecated'

I pointed out, several years ago, a little problem with the list. If I send a message from my mail client, everything gets distributed OK. But, if I send it as a login directly to the server account, it does not go several places, including the copy that should come back to me. One of the Xojo folks responded with (effectively) “Well, thats what happens.” And nothing changed. I’d expect similar “service" now.

No problem here. Have you added the nug to your contacts? In most cases mail from your contacts will not be classified as spam.

MfG

I use gmail and had to create this filter...

Matches: to:(***@lists.xojo.com)
Do this: Skip Inbox, Apply label "RealBasic", Never send it to Spam

I get all messages but each thread starts with the banner...

*This message was not sent to Spam because of a filter you created.* Edit

Hi,

I'm also using gmail and I managed it with:

Matches: from:(@lists.xojo.com) Do this: Never send it to Spam
Matches: from:(*@xojo.com) Do this: Never send it to Spam

I don't get any headers.

What does the "skip inbox" do?

I don't use the web interface, I use a pop client, if that matters.

What does the "skip inbox" do?
It just doesn't put it in the inbox, instead it only goes to my RealBasic
folder. I'm guessing, it's been so long since fiddling with filters :)
